In honor of 1955 grad, Alvin Attles, who has had an outstanding career as an NBA professional basketball player, championship coach, and executive for the Warriors organization in Philadelphia, San Francisco and Oakland – and now known as the Golden State Warriors. At a WHS Alumni Association fundraiser hosted by Alvin, more than $125,000 was raised for scholarships.
