Job Description
Bricks4Kidz is seeking a part-time after-school coordinator and instructor of after-school programs in the Buckhead area.
We are looking for candidates who are interested in part-time work only.
The position requires you to work with students in a hands-on building environment, and candidates must live in the Alpharetta area or nearby.The coordinator-instructor position involves the instruction of after-school programs at school sites, as well as the coordination and management of schedules. You will be responsible for managing an after-school program at that location, coordinating the schedule, and performing the ongoing instruction of Bricks4Kidz LEGO-based after school program at one school per day, Monday - Thursday. Classes are one hour long and are energetic, creative and fun classes geared to encourage students' participation and curiosity in S.T.E.A.M. via LEGO-building.
The position is best suited for candidates looking for VERY part-time work. Retired teachers, parents who are actively involved in their child's school, and pre-school teachers are examples of candidates who have been successful in this position.
*Responsibilities
- Teaching all classes in assigned geographic area
- Maintaining schedules
- Attending marketing events including open house events, and passing out flyers
*Compensation
Hourly: $33.00 - $45.00/class (classes are 1-hour long, and commuting to the location is not compensated)
