KPMG Assignment Select is geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work. Our team is comprised of highly trained third-party professional individuals who are in the right place, at the right time, with the right skillset. KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States. Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between the business users and IT and make recommendations to address specific business needs for IT-based solutions
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional areas, externally and internally, in the implementation of system and business processes
- Define system scopes and objectives, as well as the content of required documentation
- Evaluate new software products to determine their applicability to current and future IT environments
- Manage vendor relationships, including issue notifications and follow-ups until resolution
- Facilitate requirements gathering, document requirements and use cases; support other project documentation
- Document UAT test cases, plans as necessary; support UAT execution as needed
- Support maintenance of project's Microsoft Teams channel
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firms respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications - BA Certification is a plus, not required
- Proven experience as a true business analyst; experience interviewing end users within the ADV business, gathering problem statements, pain point with the existing business process and translating into system business solutions
- Big 4 experience is a plus
- Ability to scope the solution working with architects
- Not data or systems analyst
