Job Description
Ironwood Builders is looking for a full-time experienced carpenter/finish carpenter to join our growing team. We are a full-service design, build, remodel company. We also boast a full custom cabinet/millwork shop in Waukesha. We are looking to add a dedicated team member that is experienced in residential kitchen, bathroom, whole house remodeling. Applicants must have carpentry skills and overall knowledge, including 3-5 years of experience.
We need a team player who has attention to detail.
Essential Job Functions:
* Install custom cabinets, millwork, doors, specialty wood pieces.
* Perform field work on remodel projects.
* Problem solve when issues arise in the field.
* Demo and rough framing.
* Collaborate with skilled trades during remodel projects
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualification/Experience:
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience.
* Must provide basic carpentry hand tools.
* Must have experience installing cabinetry, millwork, doors, finish work.
* Must have experience in demolition and framing.
* Must be self-motivated.
* Must have the ability to measure accurately and resolve field issues if they arise
* Tile setting, drywall work, minor plumbing/electrical experience a plus.
* Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
* Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
* Must be able to work 30 feet above the ground.
* Must maintain proper dress code and appearance.
* Possess basic computer skills.
* Ability to show up on time and have a good work ethic.
