Job Summary:

The Bus Operator is responsible for safely delivering employee shuttle passengers to assigned airport area in accordance with passenger specifications.

Job Duties:

Monitors and enforce safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.

Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.

Perform Pre & Post DVIR safety checks of your assigned bus.

Follow and maintain safety protocols, using safety exercises as the go to recommended best practices.

Conduct and maintain professional appearance while on duty.

Provide customer service that always aligns with bus service.

Able and willing to transport buses to and from the maintenance shop for preventable maintenance service.

Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors.

Use CB radios to stay informed of route information and communicate with supervisor and colleagues.

May be required to assist with bags no more than 13 pounds.

Coordinates with clients in performing additional operation activities regarding passenger/crew movement from a remote area to the terminal.

Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of relevant work experience in the bussing/shuttle industry.

Possess a Valid CDL A or B with a P endorsement.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to constantly lift, move up to 70 lbs, push, pull; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, grasp outwards and bend.

Working conditions:

Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.

Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
