  • Check fire safety equipment like extinguishers and alarms to ensure they are accessible and functioning.

• Look for visible risks :

  • Ensure there are no blocked exits or obstacles that could prevent evacuation in case of a fire.
  • Check for smoke, unusual smells, or heat sources that might indicate a hidden fire.

• Verify fire detection systems :

  • Ensure that smoke detectors and fire alarms are in place and working properly.
  • Test the alarms if part of your responsibility or check with the relevant department for scheduled tests.

• Log observations in real-time :

  • Record all findings, even if everything is normal, to track your routine checks.
  • Use clear descriptions for any unusual findings or potential hazards (e.g., "Fire extinguisher missing in the second-floor hallway").
  • Note the time and location of each check.

• Report immediately if you detect a problem :

  • If you find any sign of fire or risk, follow emergency procedures.
  • Alert the appropriate personnel and take necessary steps to mitigate the risk.

• End-of-day summary :

  • Review your log to ensure all areas have been checked.
  • Submit or save your report for future reference or follow-up actions.
