Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA - Hospice

MORE ABOUT THE CNA CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Registered Nurse opportunity include, but are not limited to:

1. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
2. Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
3. Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient’s unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
4. Foster a caring environment that respects patient's dignity
5. Ensure proper hygiene for patients, including skin care, oral care, and nail care
6. Help patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity
7. Regularly reposition and turn patients to prevent pressure ulcers and ensure their comfort
8. Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CNA CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT :

1. 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
2. Hospice or home health experience highly preferred
3. HCHB experience highly preferred
4. Must be eligible to work in the United States
5. CNA license in TX
