If you are passionate about providing exceptional care for older adults and are dedicated to enhancing their quality of life, we want YOU to be part of our dynamic team!RequirementsMaintains a valid license certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with federal, state and local regulationsCPR certification preferredMinimum of one year of geriatrics experience is preferred, especially within a Memory Care or Dementia care setting.Knowledge and experience in bedside nursing are preferred.Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends. Primary Responsibilities:Provide compassionate care to residents in our Memory Care unit, promoting dignity and comfort.Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.Document patient care and observations according to VHRC standards and regulations.Provide support and companionship to residents, promoting social interaction and mental engagement.Assist with recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance residents' well-being and cognitive health.Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents by adhering to safety protocols and infection control practices.Respond promptly to residents' needs and provide support in emergency situations when necessary.
