Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Description

Join our team as a CNC Programmer where you will blend your skills as a machinist and programmer, working within the G&M code. You will be responsible for programming at the terminal of machines, developing tool paths, and managing mold patterns to ensure precision and quality in every product.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using G&M code and perform offsets, setups, and changeovers.
• Develop tool paths and molds using CAM software from designer models.
• Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each project.
• Set up and machine patterns and molds independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints to layout and fabricate custom products.
• Calculate and draft revisions to blueprints in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Perform quality control checks using radius gauges, depth gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Handle materials ranging from steel to sheet metal, ensuring precision and minimizing waste.

Essential Skills

• CNC Machining Experience
• Proficiency in Programming, Operating, and Setting Up CNC Machines
• Experience with Tooling Changeovers
• Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints
• Fabricating and Fitting Expertise

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAM and Surfcam software
• Experience in Tool & Die processes

Work Environment

This position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays. You will be working in a newly equipped job shop environment, known for its loud and bustling atmosphere. Uniforms are provided, with 50% of pants costs covered, and steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
