Doyle Security Services is seeking to hire Armed Security Officer for a Corporate location in Newark, New Jersey . This position ensures that our clients and their facilities are secure.

Shifts Available:

• Monday - Wednesday and Friday: 2PM to 8PM
• Monday - Tuesday: 8AM to 2PM
• Friday: 2PM to 10PM

PAY RATE : $27.00 per hour

*Retired Law Enforcement Officer PREFERRED*

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The following listing of primary job responsibilities indicates the general nature and level of work required in this job. • Respond to calls and emails for any on-site issues or emergencies in a timely matter.
• Cover all open posts and hold post for any openings on site and maintaining overtime.
• Review and approve or deny all time off requests.
• Review and maintain payroll for all employees.
• Responsible for the proper execution of assigned duties.
• Trains and retrains new and existing officers.
• Assisting staff in handling incidents, medical and turnover for KPI.
• Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems to ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
• Order and maintain uniforms for security staff.
• Supervisors are responsible for ensuring the staff is always wearing their uniforms properly while on duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid New Jersey SORA License - ARMED Required!
• Retired Law Enforcement Officer PREFERRED
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
• Ability to deescalate situations
• Great customer services skills
