Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager with experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time 30-hour/ $30.00 per hour flexible schedule/office position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting principles, with the ability to provide insightful financial analysis and support. As the CSF Financial Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while adhering to regulatory standards.
Duties:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in cash management.
• Oversee accrual accounting processes, ensuring timely recognition of revenues and expenses.
• Utilize accounting software such as Yardi Breeze for efficient financial tracking and reporting.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Lead audit preparation by completing the necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices for non-profit financial accounting.
Skills:
• Strong expertise in financial management, accounting principles, and non-profit accounting.
• Proficient in technical accounting practices, including accrual accounting.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with various accounting software applications, particularly Yardi Breeze.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong ethical foundation in accounting practices.
