Your role at BHSN:

Provides crisis oversite and management to team of professional and paraprofessional staff. Provides intervention in the community and/or office setting as a member of the mobile crisis team including risk assessments, brief interventions, care management and individual/family psychotherapy to individuals potentially in crisis. Provides daily administrative oversight of the mobile crisis team and managing relationships with community stakeholders.

What your day might look like:

• Collaborates with Associate Director, Director of Operations, and/or VP of Operations in setting and driving program vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
• Oversees daily operations to include productivity, documentation efficiency, regulatory body guidelines, and quality
• Builds and maintains professional relationships with key customers, clients, community partners, and stakeholders
• Provide brief cognitive behavior therapy, psychoeducation, skills training and care management in an individual/group/family setting to recipients
• Thorough understanding of and compliance with OMH regulations regarding clinic treatment, including but not limited to, 14 CFR NY 599 and applicable OMH standards of care is required
• Additional duties as assigned

Your skills and qualifications:

• NYS LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R licensure is preferred
• Masters Degree preferred, or 5 + years of experience in health care / crisis intervention
• Ability to work with adults, children, and groups who have serious and persistent mental illness
• Ability to work afternoon and evening hours required
• Familiarity with databases and electronic health record systems preferred
• Valid NYS driver’s license with driving record acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier required
