Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager for Customer Experience will create exceptional experiences for our pet parents while embodying our mission, vision, and values. This role is integral to store leadership, focusing on enhancing the pet parent experience and achieving key business results. You will also share responsibilities for ensuring a safe environment for both pets and associates.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership: Engage in recruiting, hiring, coaching, and supporting associates to enhance their experience and development.
• Store Experience: Supervise the pet parent experience across multiple channels, including in-store and online; respond to any escalated concerns.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all store services, ensuring compliance and enhancing overall service quality.
• Business Management: Identify growth opportunities and manage expenses while holding associates accountable for achieving store financial targets.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of leadership experience in a retail or customer service environment
• Full-time availability with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Strong computer proficiency
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to remain composed under pressure
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

Physical Requirements

As an associate, you will need to stand, walk, and perform various tasks requiring movement and lifting up to 50 pounds. You may also be exposed to moderate noise levels and the potential for encountering live animals.
