Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Lake Carolina region)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person
Details
Availability: Monday or Tuesday from 3:30 pm or later
Lesson Frequency: 1 time per week
Lesson Duration: 45 minutes each child
Current level: Beginner
Native/other languages: German
Goals:
Engage in learning through games
Begin practicing simple conversations
Interests: Playing on the playground
Responsibilities
Deliver interactive, play-based English lessons suitable for a young child
Focus on vocabulary building through games and daily activities
Encourage confidence in speaking and initiating simple conversations
Adapt lessons to the child’s age and interests
Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in English
Certificate or degree in early childhood education, language teaching, linguistics, or related field
Experience teaching young children (preschool/early elementary age)
Ability to create fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons
