Entry Level Chemical/Process Engineer - Pittsburgh / Moon Twp. We’re looking for an Entry Level Chemical/Process Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities Electronics Team in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on state‑of‑the‑art projects, implement, modify, and maintain process designs, and assist with the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications. In this position you will work with a multidisciplinary team, taking on a variety of tasks that blend theoretical knowledge with practical application. Under the guidance of professional engineers, architects, and other senior technical staff you will develop flow diagrams, perform sizing calculations for pipe and equipment, and develop process specifications. You’ll assist activities ensuring that design and construction conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements. Technical skills will be built using software such as PipeFlo, AFT Fathom, Bluebeam, and SmartPlant. This role requires a results‑driven, client‑focused professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong work ethic. You’ll demonstrate ownership of work assignments, progressing from basic design work to more complex projects, managing time and responsibilities effectively while maintaining high‑standard deliverables. What you’ll need Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Basic understanding of process design principles and standards Ability to work in-person in our Moon Township Office or Client Site Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship (sponsorship will not be available for this role now or in the future) Ideally, you will also have Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Basic knowledge of ASPEN, PipeFlo (Professional and Compressible), AFT Fathom, HTRI, WinGems, and SmartPlant Previous exposure to manufacturing processes, process engineering and design activities Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain Benefits Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
