JOB SUMMARY

Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing gas plant operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• No Licensure or Certification Required.

• Systems used SAP, SCADA, EXCEL, GO ARC

• Approximately 60%-100% of shift outdoors in a wide range of temperatures; Exposure to chemical vapors, high level of noise or heat that may require PPE, Work will be in 8-12 hour shifts, May be required to lift or carry up to 30 pounds, push or pull heavy weights, ride a bicycle and climb ladders. This role will have mandatory on-call obligations.

• Required to follow all safety and environmental regulations and procedures

• Accountable for theone call operations, tank farm operations, condensate stabilization, pigging operations, glycol/dehydration operations, and gas compression.

• Analyzes specifications and controls continuous operation process units

• Reads, operating logs, test results of amine samples, and laboratory recommendations to determine changes in equipment controls required to optimize processing

• Takes readings within gas plant

• Monitors and operates specialized equipment making adjustments as needed/authorized

• Required to meet certification and pass both a written and skills test to move up levels within the Operator II role (May be required to complete certification and level progression in a specified timeframe)

• Experienced Operators may be required to train/mentor Operator Trainees or entry level operators

• Prepares equipment for maintenance and obtain work permits for maintenance, write up work orders so maintenance can be performed on specific equipment including LOTO

• Must successfully complete refresher training as required

• Must complete a detailed shift handover for next shift change

• Performs other duties as assigned
