Position Summary
The Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), headquartered near Pittsburgh, PA is a growing global 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with roots to 1871. We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager/Controller to join our in-office team. This individual will work closely with leadership to ensure the financial sustainability and operational effectiveness of the association while supporting our global programs and mission-driven initiatives.
AIST is a leading nonprofit representing more than 18,000 members across 70+ countries, dedicated to advancing the technical development, production, and application of iron and steel. We promote knowledge-sharing, innovation, and workforce development through global conferences, training programs, scholarships, and technical publications.
This role is responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and optimizing internal financial processes. The ideal candidate is ambitious, hard-working, and collaborative, with a positive attitude and strong communication skills. This person will serve as a key partner to senior managers, providing financial insight and operational support across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications
· CPA, MBA, or relevant nonprofit financial certification
· Experience supporting facilities management and human resources functions
· Proficiency with iMIS or other Association Management Systems
· Familiarity with international financial transactions
