Role: HVAC Project Manager

Location: Queens, NY

Salary: $130K - $150K + Benefits

Are you an experienced HVAC Project Manager looking to take ownership of high-profile commercial projects across New York City? We are a well-established mechanical contractor delivering full-scale HVAC solutions for office buildings, retail spaces, schools, healthcare facilities, and large commercial developments throughout the five boroughs. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a strong Project Manager to join our leadership team.

As our HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout. You’ll manage field teams, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to spec.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end HVAC/mechanical construction projects across NYC
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, GC’s, and subcontractors
• Lead site teams, ensure adherence to mechanical drawings, and resolve technical challenges
• Develop project schedules, cost forecasts, procurement plans, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with NYC codes, safety standards, and QA/QC procedures
• Oversee installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, controls, and related mechanical equipment
• Prepare progress reports and attend site meetings
• Drive projects to successful completion with minimal disruption to stakeholders

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience as an HVAC or Mechanical Project Manager (commercial projects preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, MEP coordination, and HVAC installations
• Ability to read & interpret mechanical plans and specifications
• Experience managing labor, budgets, scheduling, and procurement
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
