Job Title: ITIL Project Coordinator
Industry: Hospital & Health Care

Location: Brooklyn, NY | 2-3 days on-site upon need. ***Applicants must reside within a 30-mile commute radius and should be willing to travel upon need.***

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage ITIL-based projects within the hospital and healthcare environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and administrative departments, to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and identifying any potential risks or issues that may arise.
  • Implement ITIL best practices to enhance service delivery and improve operational efficiency within the organization.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff on ITIL processes and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to project management processes, including project charters, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and systems into existing workflows, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and its application in the healthcare environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Certification in ITIL or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
