Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Junior Communications Specialist to manage internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and clarity in our messaging. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and communicator, capable of representing the company to various stakeholders and fostering an environment of transparency and engagement.

Salary: $22.50 - $31.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

1. Draft and distribute clear and concise internal communications, including newsletters, memos, and announcements.
2. Develop and edit written materials such as press releases, speeches, and company reports.
3. Maintain and uphold brand consistency across all written and verbal communication.
4. Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and media outlets.
5. Support leadership with communication strategies and materials for presentations and meetings.
6. Plan and execute corporate events, such as conferences, community outreach programs, and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
3. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
4. Experience in event planning and coordination is an asset.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
