At Lifebit, we're driven by the mission to make complex data analysis simpler and more accessible. We empower key institutions worldwide to revolutionize their data utilization and technology integration. Lifebit is powering the world’s federated data platforms for population-scale health and life sciences. Our Federated AI Platform is trusted across federal health agencies, national health systems, and global pharma to unlock sensitive biomedical and real-world data securely, compliantly, and at scale. We are rapidly expanding our presence in the U.S. federal health market and building a local team to support programs across the various federal agencies. Join us if you're inspired to tackle meaningful challenges and want to launch your career in health technology and cloud-based data solutions. The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join Lifebit’s growing US team. As a Junior Solutions Architect, you’ll support senior team members in pre-sales, solution delivery, and customer success activities. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is eager to learn how to bridge technology and science to solve real-world problems. We’re looking for someone with foundational experience or academic background in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Data Engineering, or a related field, and a passion for applying technology to federal health and biomedical research. You’ll work with cross-functional teams — including Senior Solutions Managers, engineers, and scientists — to understand customer needs, assist in technical demonstrations, and support deployments of Lifebit’s Federated AI Platform. Based in the Washington, DC/DMV area, you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to learn how to design, configure, and communicate solutions that meet complex technical and scientific requirements. Your Role and Responsibilities Support Senior Solutions Managers and Sales in preparing demos, presentations, and technical documentation. Assist with solution workshops and proposal responses by gathering requirements and helping align them with Lifebit’s capabilities. Learn to translate RFI/RFP requirements into basic solution outlines under mentorship. Solution Delivery & Customer Success Participate in customer onboarding and platform setup activities, ensuring smooth handover and communication. Help configure data ingestion and harmonization pipelines (e.g., OMOP, FHIR, CDISC) under supervision. Shadow customer meetings and deployments to gain experience with federated access, metadata cataloging, and Trusted Research Environment (TRE) capabilities. Work closely with senior team members to capture customer feedback and translate it into actionable insights for product and engineering teams. Assist in preparing internal documentation, training materials, and user guides for customers. Contribute to whitepapers or technical notes as part of your professional development. What You Bring to the Table Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or a related field. 0–1 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or customer-facing role (internships or research projects count). Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or data standards (OMOP, FHIR, CDISC). Interest in federated data systems, privacy-preserving technologies, or biomedical data analytics. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn how to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. U.S.-based and eligible to work on federal health projects (security clearance eligibility is required). Preferred Qualifications Coursework or internship experience related to data interoperability, health informatics, or software development. Exposure to scripting or analytical tools (Python, SQL, RStudio, or Jupyter). Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) or containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes). Background or strong interest in public health, genomics, or healthcare research. Eagerness to grow into a Solutions Architect or Technical Lead role through mentorship and hands‑on experience.
