Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: C&I Engineering is looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team! About the opportunity: Laser Scanning Technician We are currently seeking a full-time Laser Scanning Technician to help us achieve our company mission. This person will be part of the Civil/Structural team, which is responsible for developing designs for structural layouts in facilities such as refineries, distilleries, and consumer packaging facilities. C&I is an employee-owned, full-service engineering design firm providing engineering/design/project management and procurement services to various clients Responsibilities include: Perform on-site laser scanning utilizing survey control in existing industrial facilities. Compile, register, and generate 3D models from point cloud data Uses AutoCAD and other software to complete designs. Meets schedule and budget commitments for project tasks as established by others. Coordinates schedule priorities of deliverables with project teams Use vendor documents, coordination prints, surveys, and models to check dimensions, determine interface points, and determine physical space requirements. Minimum requirements: 2-year technical degree with a specialization in computer-aided drafting and design, along with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
