Marketing Intern Position
Location: Remote/On-site (as needed); need to be located in the Cleveland, OH area Duration: June 1 - August 30 Compensation: $15 per hour Hours: 15-20 hours per week About Us: We are a creative startup dedicated to helping kids navigate social/emotional, practical, and play situations. A podcast, videos, and social media will all support Book sales. Responsibilities:
1. Website: Assist in the maintenance of a new website, ensuring it reflects our brand identity and values.
2. SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Work on optimizing website content and structure to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
3. Graphic Design: Collaborate on creating visually appealing graphics for various marketing materials, including social media posts, emails, and website assets.
4. Email Marketing: Help craft engaging email campaigns to reach our target audience and drive conversions.
5. Content Creation: Contribute to compelling written and visual content for blog posts, articles, social media, and other marketing channels.
6. Social Media Management: Assist in managing our social media presence across platforms, including content scheduling, engagement, and analytics tracking.
7. Marketing Strategy: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for marketing initiatives and campaigns.
8. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing data, media, and files, as well as taking meeting minutes.
Requirements:
1. Currently pursuing a degree in, recently completed a degree in, or possess a keen interest in: Graphic Design, Content Creation, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to respond to email, text, and phone calls in a professional timely manner.
3. Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
4. Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Hubspot, Constant Contact) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
5. Ability to work independently, and manage time effectively.
6. Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude toward tackling new challenges.
7. Must be available to start on June 1 and commit to the duration of the internship.
