Job Duties:

• Assist the Provider with all aspects of patient care such as - vital signs, rooming in patients, entering the history and other documentation in the electronic medical records, patient education, assisting with office procedures, patient treatment plan and follow-up.
• Review prior medical records to obtain past medical history and test results. Pre-chart for clinic days.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, good computer skills, and competency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Typing: 50-60wpm.
• Highly motivated with excellent time management skills. Must be able to multi-task, be a team player. Must be very detail-oriented.
• Answer phone calls, and send faxes. Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must have current BLS certification or obtain within one month of hire.

Medical Scribe: at least 1 year of scribing experience
