Permatex, Inc. a division of Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW); is a leading manufacturer, distributor, and marketer of premium chemical products to the automotive maintenance and repair, home and hardware markets. Core brands include: Permatex®, Fast Orange®, Spray Nine®, the Right Stuff® and Devcon® Home. 

ITW Permatex is currently looking for a 1st Shift Order Picker in our Distribution Department. The hours for this position are 7:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday). This position is responsible for the following:

• Will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders paying special attention to customer specific requirements.
• Will utilize R/F technology to fulfill these orders and generate appropriate labels and will also be required to generate appropriate paperwork at times.
• Will be required to stand/lift /bend the entire shift and able to lift 65 pounds.
• This position is required to pick 5-gallon pails and gallon boxes a majority of the day.
• Must be experienced in driving motorized material handling equipment.
• Will independently perform housekeeping aisle audits on a routine basis.
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a team environment as well as be able to independently plan work activities and meet daily productivity goals.
• Must be detail oriented and able to perform basic mathematical functions
• Is able to plan and carryout movement or flow of materials or products in a productive manner.
• Assures that accurate customer orders are completed with efficiency.

• The selected individual will possess a high school diploma or equivalent with a preferred minimum of 2 years prior order picking / warehouse experience.
• Must have low-lift forklift experience or willing to be trained. 

Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour depending on experience.

PLEASE NOTE: Our new hire orientations are held the first and third Monday of each month from 8am-5pm. Our expectation is all new hires must attend new hire orientation before they can begin their new role, regardless of shift.
