Job Description: We are looking to add a
Pharmacist to join our
Employee Benefits team in

Essential Responsibilities: •PBM Partnerships Oversight: Assists in managing and evaluating preferred Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) partnerships.
•Client and Employee Training: Trains clients and employees on pharmacy trends, cost containment, and clinical strategies.
•Pharmacy Utilization Monitoring: Monitors client's pharmacy utilization and spending.
•Industry Relationships: Maintains relationships within the pharmaceutical industry and stays updated on emerging market conditions.
•Sales and Client Retention: Presents pharmacy strategies in sales meetings to acquire new business and retain key clients.
•Cost-Effective Solutions: Collaborates with clients to design cost-effective and efficient plans and clinical solutions.
•Data Analysis and Reporting: Uses and analyzes data to forecast solutions, provide transparency, and develop new clinical outcomes reporting.
•Compliance and Regulations: Creates awareness about compliance regulations (HIPAA, ERISA, PPACA) and their impact on pharmacy and clinical needs.
•Vendor and Formulary Management: Manages vendor-related issues, maintains vendor relationships, reviews formulary updates, and evaluates PBM clinical criteria.
•Clinical Consulting and Implementation: Provides clinical consulting, assists with client implementations with PBMs, monitors drug pipeline, and standardizes clinical data.
Qualifications: •Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited institution
•Experience: 7+ years' experience, with at least 5 in managed care.
•Skills & Technical Competencies: Applies insurance principles to deliver top-tier client experiences by consulting on strategic needs, contributing to strategy, informing stakeholders, and meeting industry standards. Identifies opportunities or root causes, analyzes facts with logical reasoning, and develops effective solutions. Builds strong client relationships, understands their needs, prioritizes deliverables, manages status, and provides impactful solutions.

The salary range for Minnesota residents is $114,800- $191,300. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, work experience and industry certifications. In addition to your salary, Holmes Murphy offers a comprehensive total rewards program including annual bonuses, total wellbeing benefits and support for professional development.
