PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – CALL CENTER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: San Antonio TX 78238 | Remote AFTER training – MUST be local
• Payrate: $18/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM CST | Rotating Saturdays (with potential for permanent Sundays)
  • Training: First 4 weeks onsite in San Antonio, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – CALL CENTER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Pharmacy Technician Call Center role involves supporting members, prescribers, and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of requests. Pharmacy Technicians will be the first point of contact for customer care needs and will work closely with multiple departments, including Pharmacy, Shipping, Customer Care, Finance, Claims Processing, and Eligibility.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – CALL CENTER | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accept and respond to incoming calls related to Participant Services.
• Resolve requests submitted via phone, mail, or internal systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
• Provide support to members and serve as the first point of contact before Pharmacist intervention is required.
• Work within multiple databases and queues to process requests effectively.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – CALL CENTER | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Active TX Pharmacy Technician license or TX Trainee license in good standing.
• 6+ months of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged).
• Customer service or call center experience preferred.
