Location: Washington, DC Metro Area – Onsite Clearance Requirement: CBP Background Investigation (BI) We are currently looking to fill a Program Manager II role. Responsibilities & other details are listed below: Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact with CBP Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and senior government officials. Oversee 24x7x365 operations across CBP Technology Service Desk (TSD) locations in DC, Orlando, and San Antonio. Lead all programmatic aspects of the contract, including scheduling, risk management, transition planning, and performance tracking. Manage the execution of the Quality Control Plan (QCP), Staffing Plan, and Training Plan. Ensure contractor staff are onboarded timely, background cleared and aligned to service level goals. Conduct Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and prepare monthly performance reports with trend analysis and “get well” plans. Communicate customer feedback and lead continuous service delivery improvements. Direct staff response during operational events, outages, or volume spikes, including real-time escalation and after-action reporting. Eligibility & Qualifications U.S. Citizen with active CBP Background Investigation (BI). Minimum 5 years’ experience managing IT service desk or help desk operations in a federal environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Deep knowledge of ITIL and HDI best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and multi-site management experience.
