This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Architect to join a thriving architectural studio in Orlando, FL, with a focus on commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments. In this full-time, in-office role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering projects from concept through construction, ensuring design integrity, technical precision, and exceptional client satisfaction. This position offers strong mentorship, leadership visibility, and a clear path toward advancement within the organization.

Key Duties:

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Architect (RA) in Florida or eligible for reciprocity

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in architecture, including project leadership roles on mid- to large-scale developments

  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction methodologies, permitting processes, and applicable codes

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and construction documentation workflows

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from design through construction, with attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with commercial, retail, or mixed-use project types

  • Familiarity with proposal writing, business development, and client-facing presentations

  • Ability to balance creative vision with technical execution and budget constraints

  • Passion for sustainable and innovative design practices

Opportunity for Growth:

This role offers a clear and rewarding path toward senior leadership, including potential advancement to Director of Architecture or Principal. Candidates who demonstrate excellence in design delivery, project management, and client engagement will be well-positioned for upward mobility and increased leadership responsibilities.
