Position Summary:
This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Delphos, OH. The Sanitation operator is primarily responsible for performing utility cleanup and plant sanitation. The position also provides assistance to the plant in preparation for and during the fall harvest and to fill future full-time vacancies throughout the plant. Candidates must actively participate in Bunge's Employee Safety Policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees.
Position Details:
5:00 pm to 5:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Starting pay is $23.61 per hour.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Process paperwork for department procedures.
- Perform cleaning within the department as directed including but not limited to dust and bean clean up, shoveling snow.
- Use hoses to wash down areas.
- Trash and sanitation duties including but not limited to bathroom and breakroom areas.
- Assist with supplies and inventory.
- Assist with fire extinguisher checks as assigned.
- Cut and remove bean samples.
- Work safely and assist coworkers as needed.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment including but not limited to bobcat, tractor, forklift, unloading deliveries
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED preferred
- Agriculture or industrial experience preferred
- Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willing to work overtime and flexible hours
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work 1st shift on 2-2-3 schedule
- Good attendance
