Weekend Only Security Maintenance – Make a Visible Difference Every Day!

Seeing a part-time security staff member to serve on our security and maintenance team caring for our 50+ acre grounds and interacting with our residents and team members. This position is an every other weekend position responsible for light maintenance and security rounds.

Hours: 8 hours/week; Every other Weekend (Saturday and Sunday - 2 pm - 10 pm shift)

Pay: Starting at $19.50/hour with $1.25/hr weekend differential + $1.00/hr shift differential

Security Maintenance Team Member Summary and Purpose: Provides security to Fairmount Homes’ residents, team members, campus and property by monitoring and patrolling buildings and grounds. Responds to emergency-related needs. Performs a variety of light maintenance and housekeeping projects. Performs sanitation needs during weekend coverage.

Employment Qualifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to read, write and understand English, comply with Corporate Compliance Plan and support the mission and values of Fairmount Homes.

Security Maintenance: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts inside rounds, including equipment checks, locking/checking doors and windows, checking fire annunciator panel and lights.
• Conducts a walk-through in Crest View, Wheat Ridge and Farm Crest buildings twice during the night.
• Conducts outside rounds, including locking buildings and entrances and checking parking lots.
• Escorts/transports healthcare team member to cottages and Farm Crest; escorts emergency personnel, undertakers and visitors to intended locations, as needed.
• Communicates regularly with campus supervisor to apprise him/her of any emergency or security-related situations.
• Promptly evaluates any campus suspicious activity involving persons or property. If appropriate, immediately contacts local police authorities for their intervention.
• Intervenes in situations of misconduct involving residents, team member or visitors.
• Responds to campus emergency maintenance calls.
• Assists with fire drills and responds to fire alarms or other alarms on annunciator panel.
• Monitors weather conditions and alerts all departments as needed.
• Performs a variety of light maintenance and housekeeping projects.
• Treats confidentially all information regarding residents, team member, families, visitors or others.
• Assists with ice and snow removal.
• Assists in resident transfers as needed.
• Performs corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties including receiving or moving supplies and assisting in moving residents’ possessions.
• Completes log and reports as required.
• Adheres to Corporate Compliance Plan
• Complies with HIPAA Privacy standards.
• Performs other duties as required by facility needs.

Compensation details: 19.5-21.1 Hourly Wage
