Job Description

As our Senior Web Developer, you will create the look, layout, feel, functionality and features of all the websites we are developing. You will work on developing new websites and on enhancing our existing Web properties.

You will work closely with our creative directors, project managers, strategists and other design team members to develop specifications and make adjustments regarding the use of new and emerging Web technologies.

To be successful as a Senior Web Designer, you should be innovative and demonstrate a passion for technology. Outstanding candidates are deadline-driven self-starters with superb customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Interpreting client specifications and identifying website user requirements.
• Creating timeframes and work schedules to meet deadlines.

• Work with clients and project managers to build and refine graphic designs for websites. Must have strong skills in Adobe, Photoshop, Sketch, InvsionApp, UX Pin, or equivalent application(s).
• Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes.
• Implement and enhance campaign reporting and keep abreast of analytics Best Practices.
• Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to internal clients.
• Develop and maintain robust Web Style Guides for all our Client and Internal-facing products.
• Provide thought-leadership on Web design best practices and next-generation digital trends.
• Create high-fidelity mock-ups for vetting and user testing, and finished .psd files for development.
• Assist in the development of a enhanced branding and how to convey it cohesively across our multiple Web properties.
• Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML / CSS / PHP / JAVA practices.

• Communicating effectively with internal clients and teams.
• Establishing strong professional relationships with internal clients and other professionals.
• Supervise junior web developers/designers, analyzing areas of development, and scheduling training/investment sessions accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, IT, Marketing, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in web development and Design.
• Practical experience with content management systems.
• Experience with wireframe and diagnostic tools.
• Proficient in building campaign reporting and analytics.
• Leadership and management skills.
• Excellent customer service and research abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Superb interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
