Location: New York City
Title: Special Office Assistant
Salary: $60,000-$75,000 + $4,000 location pay
Under the direct supervision of the New York City Director of Administrative and Computer Services, performs duties related to office services, maintenance, and transportation needs of the Executive Chamber.
Duties:
Minimum Qualifications :
At least three years of relevant experience, such as property or space management, warehouse and inventory operations, purchasing, fleet or parking management, telecommunications, mail room operations, printing, or records management and retention.
In addition, candidates must possess a valid New York State driver’s license. Proof of this will be required at time of interview.
This position will require the incumbent to exercise a great deal of independent judgment in handling and resolving issues as they occur. The successful candidate will demonstrate resourcefulness, discretion, enhanced driving and navigation skills, and will also have prior professional experience interacting with high level municipal and government officials.
The incumbent of this position will serve at the pleasure of the Governor.
Travel is expected to be 80-100% of this position and may require night and weekend hours.
