Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for financial analysis and planning related to integration activities. Communicates across the various company functions to provide data analysis and make recommendations. Assists in the projection and budgeting for upcoming periods and assists in special projects. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Contributes to transactions from initial term sheet draft through financial due diligence, deal structuring, integration planning, valuation of intangible assets and purchase price allocation.
  • Performs and reports on financial due diligence on targets for strategic investments and acquisitions. Gathers, researches and processes data to determine purchase accounting.
  • Develops, coordinates and executes group infrastructure initiatives.
  • Provides meaningful variance analysis that is accurate, insightful and supports management's decision making.
  • Helps develop plan for integration costs across various functions.
  • Creates journal entries and determines consolidation structure.
  • Writes drafts of technical accounting documents to describe all aspects of executed transactions.
  • Provides financial and business decision support regarding recent merger and acquisition and integration activity. Provides detailed analytical reports to Senior Management.
  • Supports team by coordinating administrative and logistical work streams.
  • Drives corporate initiatives.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
