Sr. Manager, Risk | Retail Bank Premium Products & Experiences role at Capital One.

Responsibilities

• Advise and consult with business teams and other key stakeholders to help develop welldesigned products, processes, and supporting technologies and implement risk management practices; support our business partners to drive the risk/return tradeoff decisions.
• Lead risk framework discussions and drive creative solutions to improve the risk profile.
• Lead adhoc projects to improve processes or control environment to mitigate risks (e.g., execution errors).
• Analyze data to proactively identify risks and trends.
• Stay abreast of the changing regulatory environment and understand the impacts to the business areas that you support.
• Set and deliver on our wellmanaged agenda.
• Support, partner and interact with internal business clients.
• Set direction, manage expectations and lead crossfunctional teams.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Financial Services experience or at least 4 years of Risk Management experience.
• At least 4 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 4 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of Project Management experience leading crossfunctional projects and programs in Risk.
• 6+ years of Financial Services risk management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Analysis.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Agile or Design Thinking.
• Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
• Lean, Agile, Six Sigma or Business Process Management.
• PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM).

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.

McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr. Risk Manager.

Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr. Risk Manager.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or longterm incentives (LTI).
