Express Healthcare Staffing of Hawaii is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Hilo, Hawaii.

Job Description & Requirements

The Ultrasound Technologist must be proficient in performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple specialties. This includes:

Abdominal Imaging

• Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, Renal (normal and pathological)

Gynecological Imaging

• Breast, Ovaries, Adnexa, Uterus, Pelvis
• Includes normal and pathological findings, post-menopausal assessments, transvaginal scans, adult and pediatric patients

Obstetric Imaging

• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester evaluations
• Amniocentesis, biophysical profiles, gestational age assessments
• Placental grading, abnormalities, IUGR, uterine/adnexal evaluations

Procedural Support

• Image-guided aspirations, biopsies, drainages, and intraoperative imaging

Neonatal Imaging

• Congenital anomalies and neonatal head ultrasounds

Superficial Structures

• Abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematomas
• Scrotum & testes, thyroid evaluations

Vascular Studies

• Carotid duplex scans
• Segmental pressure studies
• Upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex imaging

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (CAAHEP or equivalent).

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification via ARDMS

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in sonography preferred.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic techniques.

Shift or schedule requirements: 40-hour shift work and call when appropriate. Floating to other units/departments.

Estimated pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours
