Job Description:
We are seeking a Port Dispatcher to join our team. This role is responsible for dispatching drivers from our three facilities to the Port of Long Beach to pick up and return containers. The position is primarily data entry focused, requiring use of multiple portals, and strong organizational skills are essential for success.
Responsibilities:
Dispatch drivers to and from the Port of Long Beach
Enter and track data accurately across multiple portals
Coordinate schedules and container movements from three facilities
Ensure timely pick-ups and returns of containers
Communicate effectively with drivers and management
Qualifications:
Previous dispatch or logistics experience preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with computer systems and portals
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time
$21/hour
