Description The Content Coordinator helps to tell impactful stories through videography and photography while moving the organization's mission forward. They manage concept, collection, and editing content for digital platforms, events, and internal communication. The Content Coordinator supports a variety of teams and goals by creating adoptable animal videos, crafting impactful video storytelling for fundraising events, and more. The Content Coordinator is a strategic team member who can manage multiple projects and deadlines at once, who enjoys working on a variety of projects, and who can self-direct and self-start.
Duties & Responsibilities Managing videography and photography projects from inception to completion
Creating relevant, original, high-quality content for social media that is designed to best engage target audiences, build awareness, and increase donations
Proactively recognizing popular themes that our target audiences engage with and developing a content strategy accordingly
Being present, on-time and engaging in team meetings
Filming, editing, and exporting videos on company equipment within specific requirements and in timely manner
Photography and photo editing
Creating content focused on specific audiences and for various platforms
Polishing videos and photos with post-production techniques to help hit strategic goals
Copy writing and providing voiceovers for videos as needed
Working and engaging with the marketing and communications team to form and execute strategic plans and campaigns for a variety of departments
Helping to lead a volunteer photography team and building a volunteer videographyteam to ensure consistent branding across internal projects and adoptable animal marketing
Maintain regular communication with foster homes
Remain flexible when sudden projects arise
Other duties as assigned
Specific Project Requirements Weekly Pet of the Week video project for 11Alive and accompanying social content
Content collection and editing of all marketing's adoptable animal list
Maintain and keep up to date assigned project lists in ClickUp
Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years' experiencein a comparable role
Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premier Pro
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate, or the willingness to learn the basics
Professional attitude and an openness to feedback
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work inde-pendently and as a member of a team
Excellent time management skills, ability to set project timelines, accomplish work in order of priority, and meet deadlines weekly
Self-reliant, self- starter, highly motivated, and positive attitude
Ability to work around and directly with animals
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs, with reasonable accommodations
