WEEQUAHIC HIGH SCHOOL AND WHS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AWARDS
In October 2024, Weequahic High School was designated a historic landmark and placed on both the State of New Jersey Registry and on the National History Registry—the first school in Newark to receive this designation.
The WHSAA also received the Charles Cummings Award, in recognition of our service to the school.
The WHSAA is very proud to have committed and outstanding alumni who continually provide resources to the students of the school and who work diligently to keep the legacy alive.

Your membership dollars support scholarships and other academic, cultural and sports-related programs for students at the high school. Memberships are renewable annually.
