The Barista prepares specialty drinks, assists with food preparation and receives orders and payments while providing exemplary guest service. Full-time & Part-time positions available!

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $18.50 to $22.50. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.?

Job Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests while anticipating their needs
• Prepare and serve espresso drinks, teas, specialty beverages per established standards
• Prepare and serve food in accordance with established standards
• Accurately operate a POS system handling credit card transactions
• Stock beverage coolers, grab and go products, service ware and condiments
• Maintain health and safety standards as outlined by the health department and OSHA
• Set up and break down coffee bar and service stations including cleaning and sanitizing
• Demonstrate proper opening and closing procedures of coffee shop as designated by Manager
• Demonstrate exemplary guest service.
• Demonstrate exemplary knowledge of temperature and food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 1 year barista experience/food service
• Able to follow detailed written and verbal directions.
• Ability to lift to 40 lbs. and frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended time periods, up to 6 hours.
• Great customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to sustain repetitive motion.
• Ability to read and understand labels/directions involving chemicals and heating equipment.
