Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a
Canvasser on behalf of our client, a trusted name in the roofing industry specializing in high-quality roof repairs, replacements, and storm restoration services. As a Canvasser, you will serve as the first point of contact with potential customers. This role is critical to generating new business by engaging directly with homeowners, sharing service information, and scheduling inspections for the sales team. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, meeting new people, and building a future career in sales.
Key Responsibilities: - Canvass assigned residential neighborhoods to promote roofing and storm restoration services.
- Engage homeowners in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Educate potential customers about available services and benefits.
- Schedule free roof inspections for interested homeowners.
- Accurately track and report daily activities and leads.
- Uphold company values and maintain a professional appearance.
- Grow into a Sales Representative role within 6-9 months.
Requirements include: Education: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: - Previous canvassing, sales, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Knowledge: - Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Knowledge of roofing or construction services is helpful but not necessary (training provided).
Key Competencies: - Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with homeowners.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
