We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent International Logistics Coordinator. This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a variety of tasks related to international logistics, project coordination, and shipment tracking. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, and has a proven track record in managing complex logistics operations.
This is a full time onsite position working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and manage international shipping operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
2. Utilize shipment tracking systems to monitor and report on the status of deliveries.
3. Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
4. Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
5. Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including costs, delivery times, and any issues or delays.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to international shipping.
7. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
8. Identify potential risks or problems in the logistics process and develop effective solutions.
9. Provide regular reports to management on shipping activities and operational performance.
Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years of experience working in an International Logistics role
2. CSA/World-Trak proficiency
3. Proficiency in MS Office
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing effective solutions to logistical challenges
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact professionally with clients and vendors
7. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
8. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to international shipping
9. Strong Customer service skills
