Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Rights Acquisition Coordinator to join our

growing team. This role will focus on identifying, negotiating, and securing media rights for key

sports properties, ensuring Overnght continues to expand its portfolio of exclusive streaming

agreements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sports media rights, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for building lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new media rights opportunities with sports organizations, leagues, and event organizers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure exclusive streaming and distribution rights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the sports and media industries.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in sports media rights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, marketing, and production) to align rights acquisitions with Overnght’s strategic goals.
  • Manage the rights acquisition process, including due diligence, contract review, and compliance.
  • Represent Overnght at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the brand and identify potential partners.
  • Track and report on the performance and value of acquired media rights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sports media, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Understanding of the sports media landscape, including streaming and digital platforms.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for sports, especially Olympic and niche sports, is a plus.
