Job Description

Adecco Creative is partnering with a luxury fashion brand in NYC to recruit for a Junior Product Photographer role. This position will be 50% onsite in North Bergen, NJ, and 50% onsite in Midtown Manhattan. This is a temp to perm opportunity.

Primary Purpose:

Reporting to the Photography Manager, the Product Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality imagery for brand e-commerce, while also supporting photography needs for other brands under their umbrella in collaboration with the NY-based team.

This role includes overseeing all aspects of the image creation process—from photography and color consistency to quality control, cropping, retouching notes, and file management. The photographer will also manage the daily shot list, ensure accurate and timely uploads to the server, and maintain studio organization and equipment upkeep.

This position will be based out of the North Bergen, NJ studio, with the expectation to work from the Manhattan office up to 50% of the time depending on business needs. As the manager is based in a different studio, this role calls for strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset to stay aligned and operate independently.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Photography to:

  • Capture still life ecommerce assets – Tabletop, Ready to Wear, details etc.
  • Set up lighting and composition for each shot ensuring that all products are represented accurately and in-line with brand creative photography guidelines
  • Manage exposure and color accuracy of all content captured
  • Manage the organization of digital files, ensuring integrity and accessibility for the rest of the team
  • Effectively manage the photography studio and equipment

The accomplished individual will possess:

  • Proficient in Adobe CS, Capture One Pro and Mac computers
  • Experience in lighting, equipment and digital photography techniques
  • Understand lighting control with strobe
  • Ability to work fast and maintain a consistent high standard
  • Clear and consistent communication with Photography manager
  • BA Degree in photography / video or equivalent experience in a professional environment
  • A highly collaborative and creative professional approach

An outstanding professional will have:

  • A strong photography portfolio that demonstrates robust technical skills, knowledge of lighting and digital photography techniques
  • Experience working within complex cross-functional teams
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a fast-paced commercial studio environment
  • A can-do, solution-focused attitude
  • Detail oriented
  • Good time management skills and the ability to deliver to targets and deadlines
  • Self sufficient
