Employment Status: Full-Time, Benefits Eligible

Location:   This position is located at our new Gymreapers HQ in Nampa, ID

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (flex according to business needs)

Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Travel: Occasional local travel to various sites in the Nampa/Boise area

Who We’re Looking For

Gymreapers is seeking an experienced Photographer/Photo Editor to join our fast-growing photo and video production team. We’re searching for a collaborative team member with a passion for engaging content that will inspire while increasing brand and product awareness.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly creative, and a self-starter with a strong work ethic. The main responsibilities are to photograph and edit content for internal and external channels (organic and paid).

What You’ll Do

  • Photograph and edit raw materials for all digital content platforms such as website, e-commerce, paid advertising and social media.
  • Specialize in product and talent photography to include studio and lifestyle imagery.
  • Execute lighting, composition, set design, and talent direction.
  • Create collaborative production environments for both talent and crew during shoots.. 
  • Perform post-production tasks including photo selection, coloring, re-touching, and basic text graphics.
  • Critically assess deadlines, finding creative ways to deliver best-in-class work while meeting business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the internal marketing and creative teams.
  • Uphold the Gymreapers Brand while also innovating on new looks and processes.
  • Maintain the organizational system for image files on the server, optimizing for easy file location and the ability to easily access for repurposing.
  • Assisting in the studio, on-location in other production capacities as needed such as video camera operating and video editing.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with photography and photo editing for websites, ads, and social media (TikTok, IG, FB, YouTube).
  • Proficiency with Sony and Canon DSLR cameras and Profoto lighting equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc).
  • Experience creating basic text graphic overlays and color grading.
  • Ability to build and maintain a highly organized post workflow and media management organization.
  • Experience leading third-party photography editors to complete asset deliverables. 
  • Ability to execute specific creative direction, and brand vision, and bring a strong point of view and creative input to the team.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, while under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the fitness and/or apparel industry is a plus.
  • Experience assisting with videography and video editing is a plus.
