Our well-known retail client is looking to hire a Proofreader in a freelance capacity beginning this month with strong potential to extend and possible conversion.
This role is hybrid, onsite downtown up to 3 days per week.
As Proofreader You Will - proofread spelling, grammar and punctuation for creative assets across print, digital, email, video
- have in house or agency experience
- retail, wellness, healthcare, beauty experience
- Advanced level skill in Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Ability to proof Spanish copy and experience building copy style guides will put you at the top of the list!
Proofreader Responsibilities - Responsible for checking all marketing materials of spelling, grammar, punctuation, point size, text style, accuracy, spacing and formatting are correct and consistent.
- Ensures style and branding guidelines are adhered to.
- Proactively researches all copy, questioning the slightest detail that could potentially be misunderstood by the consumer audience.
- Ensures all necessary information and legal disclaimers are present and correct.
- Demonstrates concern for the clients' ad content and seeks to understand the message behind the verbiage. Questions anything that may not be clear or apparent to the intended consumer.
