As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will use your communication skills to address inquiries and support a welcoming environment, while also utilizing technology such as computers or tablets as needed. Pay Rate: $14.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially in chemical and petrochemical settings.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing patrol duties.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established procedures.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
