Shipping Clerk
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our incoming and outgoing shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. If you have experience in shipping, logistics, and handling various shipping systems, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise/material with attention to detail.
Work with UPS, USPS, XPO, and LTLT shipments (experience with these is a plus).
Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise/material, and ensure it’s properly stored.
Coordinate and arrange the transportation of products through UPS, USPS, or truck.
Assist the customer service team with shipping inquiries, tracking orders, and managing international shipments.
Perform other administrative duties as needed, such as ordering supplies, operating the hi-lo/picker machine, and handling pallet wrapping and stacking.
Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
36-40 hrs/week Days
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
Familiarity with shipping carriers like UPS, USPS, XPO, and handling LTLT shipments is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder height and stand for long periods.
Strong physical stamina for handling products, packing, and preparing shipments.
Good communication skills to handle customer inquiries and internal coordination.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to help out in other departments if slow packaging, assembly etc....
Ability to come up with ideas to improve work flow
