POSITION TITLE: Social Studies Teacher- Upper Perkiomen High School REPORTS TO: Building PrincipalTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: full Time Teacher Contract, beginning 2025-2026 school yearQUALIFICATIONS: PDE Teaching Certification Social Studies Certification- Secondary 7-12 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide Social Studies instruction to students Communicate with parents about students' progress Provides an educational atmosphere consistent with instructional goals Plan, develop, write, and implement curriculum and educational programs in accordance with educational/treatment goals and students' abilities Manage student behavior to encourage best possible student educational experience Evaluate students' academic growth, keep appropriate records and prepare progress reports.
