The Business Subject Matter Expert brings proven experience from related businesses or organizations as well as system integration and technology experience. Consults with the client to define needs or problems, conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyzes problems to advise and make recommendations on business and technical solutions based on hands-on experience solving similar business problems. Utilizes knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and knowledge of various technologies and roles, including SME in product and software or functional areas. Works with Mid and Senior management and stakeholders in an organization.

New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) is requesting theuse of a Business Subject Matter Expert as a quality assurance tester withspecific skills consistent with the set of tools and products currently used bythe department for FY25 to work on Case Managementapplications, Central Scanning applications, and various other in-houseapplications developed to support the Commission's internal business needs. At the heart of these initiatives are thecore IT systems that support internal business processes and public-facingservices, both over the counter as well as on-line.
MVC continues towork towards modernizing its systems and to keep up with the ongoing need tomodify systems to accommodate laws and regulations. These efforts require extensive developmentand testing efforts. To support thiseffort, a seasoned professional versed in modern tools and technologies iscritically needed to facilitate this testing to ensure that a quality productis delivered to the customer. Inaddition to the testing duties, this candidate is expected to participate in theplanning and requirement gathering aspects of the projects and apply theirexpertise to facilitate the completion of the work.
